Atmospheric Sciences at School – short course for school teachers

The Physics Department’s Extension Project “Atmospheric Sciences in Schools” promoted a short training course for teachers from the Florianópolis municipal school system. The short course took place on Wednesday, April 17th, at the UFSC Physics Department and was attended by several teachers who work in high school and elementary school, mainly from the Escolas do Mar program. The project involves students from the UFSC Meteorology bachelor’s degree program as part of their professional training. Other project activities include the development of educational kits, lectures and training courses.
